Job Title: Medical Office Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $18 - $21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including follow-ups and reminders.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and procedures.
  • Maintain and update patient records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims processing.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a medical office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
