LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Biller for a growing organization in Phoenix, AZ. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in processing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies or government payers for reimbursement.

This position is a full-time, in-office position, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Gather all necessary information, including patient demographics, medical codes, and documentation of services rendered to compile into a claim form and submit to the appropriate payer.

• Verify patient's insurance coverage to determine eligibility, benefits, and any requirements for pre-authorizations or referrals.

• Review medical records to ensure accurate coding and documentation of diagnoses, procedures and services provided.

• Monitor the status of submitted claims and follow up regarding claim processing and payment.

• Investigate claim denials or rejections and identify reasons for denials and take appropriate actions to appeal or resubmit claims for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Medical Billing experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding (HCPCS) codes

• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA Guidelines
