Position: Revenue Cycle Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $19-21/hr.
As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of patient care. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate billing, timely claim submissions, and effective revenue collection. You will work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to optimize the revenue cycle process and enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration to final payment.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing and coding is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a related field.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Competitive hourly wage of $19-21.
