Medical Accounts Receivable
Phoenix, AZ 85027 (ONSITE)
Pay range: $18-$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm (potential to be flexible)
Core Responsibilities:
Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances with insurance companies, and patients.
Analyzing claims for processing, follow up and rebilling.
Review patient accounts, reconcile and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain and update patient accounts with accurate and detailed information.
Working clinical EMR and billing systems as well as external clearinghouses.
Analyze EOBs and make necessary adjustments to patient accounts.
Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and issues.
Provide support in resolving patient and insurance billing disputes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical accounts receivable, including experience with major payers such as Medicare and Medicaid and private insurances.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Billing knowledge is a plus.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
