Medical Billing and Collections Specialist
Onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85008 area (facility relocating to Tempe, AZ 85281 area)
Pay range $21 - $24 per hour (dependent on incoming experience and position is eligible for bonuses)
Monday – Friday | 7a-4p (opportunity for flexibility)
Responsibilities -
Conduct medical insurance collections, billing while analyzing payer trends.
Submitting billing requests, reviewing appeals and denials, escalated as needed.
Follow up with commercial insurances.
Keeping track of assigned accounts, identifying debts and payment resolution.
Drafting correspondence, overpayment reviews, approvals.
Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls, payment plans, negotiations, and proper resolutions of patient inquiries.
Qualifications -
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Billing and Collections
Experience working with EMR/EHR systems.
Excel experience is required.
Detail oriented, thorough, and tech savvy with ability to prioritize exceptionally and delegate as needed.
Ability to multi-task effectively, work individually as well as in a team environment.
High efficiency in problem resolution.
