LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Front Office Coordinator for a growing organization in Phoenix, AZ. As a Medical Front Office Coordinator, you will provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the front office activities. Typical responsibilities range from answering phones and greeting patients to managing health records and transcribing medical documents.
This position is a full-time, in-office position, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls
Assisting patients with the check-in process upon arrival, verifying insurance information, and collecting any necessary payments or co-pays.
Managing the check-out process, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing any necessary paperwork or instructions.
Ensuring that patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed. This may involve scanning and indexing documents into the electronic medical records system.
Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and established company policies.
Review charge information to ensure accuracy per payer requirements and make corrections as needed.
Resolves outstanding invoice problems from past-due accounts.
Qualifications
2+ years of office administrative experience
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of HIPPA and other medical insurance regulations.
