Patient Intake Representative
Fully Onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85029 area
Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and families upon arrival and check them in for their appointments or procedures.
Verify patient insurance and demographic information, as well as collect any necessary co-payments or deposits.
Schedule and confirm appointments, procedures, DME orders, and supplies for patients.
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and facilities, as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Monitor and manage the patient flow in the facility during.
Assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 year of experience in a Medical Front Office setting or similar.
Knowledge of working with payors for Commercial, and Medicare insurances.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
