LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking to add a Project Coordinator to the team. This role is integral to our construction efforts and must have supporting construction project coordinating experience to qualify.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure project activities are completed on schedule and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Enter project data and documentation into project management software database.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and filing systems.
  • Request, track, and manage essential construction project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and close-out documents.
  • Keep a detailed log of project submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Aid in drafting, issuing, and monitoring contracts and change orders.
  • Verify and manage vendor documentation, including insurance and business licenses.
  • Review vendor and contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness of supporting documents.
  • Communicate project updates and information clearly to relevant team members.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excel- must be proficient and able to create v-look ups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Yardi is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Construction Management is preferred.
