Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ


Job Description: Are you a professional with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Procurement, or Quality Assurance looking to transition into Project Management? LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing clients team on a direct hire basis in Phoenix, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 1 year of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from start to completion through the 5 key phases: concept, award, preparation, execution, and closeout.

  • Develop budgetary through final quotations and select vendors through a competitive bid process.

  • Establish project timelines/schedules and ensure timely completion.

  • Approve release of payments/invoices, change orders, and other credits/debits to projects.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide regular updates and reports and address issues with existing systems.

  • Utilize AutoCAD and other software to review, update, and modify designs.

  • Manage project quality control during installation phases and resolve issues


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME or BSEE) from a four-year college or university

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in related field.

  • Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.

  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management techniques.

  • Proficient with MS Office suite MS Project, and CAD software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
