Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Description: Are you a professional with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Procurement, or Quality Assurance looking to transition into Project Management? LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing clients team on a direct hire basis in Phoenix, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 1 year of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects from start to completion through the 5 key phases: concept, award, preparation, execution, and closeout.
Develop budgetary through final quotations and select vendors through a competitive bid process.
Establish project timelines/schedules and ensure timely completion.
Approve release of payments/invoices, change orders, and other credits/debits to projects.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide regular updates and reports and address issues with existing systems.
Utilize AutoCAD and other software to review, update, and modify designs.
Manage project quality control during installation phases and resolve issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME or BSEE) from a four-year college or university
Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in related field.
Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management techniques.
Proficient with MS Office suite MS Project, and CAD software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
