Revenue Cycle Specialist II

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience


100% ONSITE in the Phoenix AZ area 85009



Pay range between $20-$23 per hour



Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and post payments, adjustments, and denials received from payers and patients.

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before services are provided, and update patient insurance information as needed.

  • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies or government agencies.

  • Generate and send patient statements for outstanding balances, process refunds for overpayments.

  • Reconcile payments with billed charges to identify discrepancies.

  • Monitor the status of submitted claims and pursue resolution of unpaid or denied claims.

  • Identify and address claim rejections or errors promptly.

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports and maintain organized reports.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full Revenue Cycle processes (combination of Scheduling, Authorizations, Medical Billing and Claims processes etc.).

  • Experience in MS Office, and knowledge of EMR/HER systems.

  • Can maintain high detail in a fast-paced environment, while being successful in a repetitive environment.

  • Highly professional, and ability to communicate in a professional manner and eager to take on new responsibilities.

  • Ability to focus on and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
