Temporary AR Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Phoenix who is looking for an AR Coordinator contractor. This is a 6 month contract, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The hourly rate is between $22/hr-$24/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming payments and post to customer accounts
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due accounts
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements
  • Assist with month-end closing and AR reporting
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment status and account issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role
  • Strong understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software/ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
