Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant – Manufacturing & Distribution

📍 Location: Onsite in Pico Rivera, CA

🕗 Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong foundation in general ledger and financial reporting? LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing and distribution company in Pico Rivera to find a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing organization where you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting (70–80%)

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages.

• Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers (A/R, revenue, depreciation, etc.).

• Ensure timely and accurate internal financial reporting.

• Support branch management with financial analysis and budgeting.

• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with external audits.

• Manage bank reconciliations and online banking portal administration.

• Oversee credit card gateway administration.

Cost Accounting & Inventory (20–30%)

• Learn and support cost accounting functions:

  • Inventory valuation and COGS analysis.

  • Freight cost and raw material valuation.

  • Review inventory reports and productivity metrics.

Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and file sales/use tax, property tax, and other local taxes.

• Handle in-house tax matters and support tax audits.

• Assist with corporate filings and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

• Familiarity with cost accounting principles is a plus.

• Proficiency with NDS – AS400 software preferred.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
