Purchasing & Planning Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional with experience in purchasing, planning, and inventory management? A growing company in the skincare and cosmetics industry is looking for a Purchasing & Planning Specialist to optimize inventory levels, coordinate procurement, and ensure seamless production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage purchasing of raw materials and packaging components, ensuring alignment with production needs
Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock
Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for pricing, reliability, and efficiency
Oversee demand planning and production scheduling for bulk compounding, filling, and assembly
Work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Monitor customer demand via e-commerce platforms and proactively address inventory risks
Assist in ERP system implementation and process improvements
Create and maintain SOPs to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Experience in skincare/cosmetic manufacturing and raw material purchasing is highly desirable
Strong purchasing and inventory control experience (minimum 2 years)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Background in supply chain, procurement, or material management preferred
