Position Title: Electrical Engineer

Overview:

Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer with a strong presence in the Pittsburgh region, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for industrial machinery and plant infrastructure.

• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and maintenance personnel.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and other relevant electrical codes and safety standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production environments.

• Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and upgrades.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.).

• Strong understanding of PLCs, motor controls, and power distribution systems.

• Understanding of three phase power, medium and/or high voltage environments, specifically in a manufacturing setting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
