LHH is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist for a valued law firm client in Pittsburgh. Organization and attention to detail are extremely important in this fast-paced office. The position is a direct hire opportunity. Please send your resume for consideration!
Responsibilities
· Handle all aspects of client billing, including reviewing, editing, preparing, and submitting invoices on time while following firm and client rules.
· Finalize invoices based on attorney and client requirements.
· Check and process time entries to match billing standards.
· Work with attorneys and staff to solve billing issues.
· Follow detailed billing guidelines.
· Monitor, appeal, and resolve billing adjustments or issues via e-billing platforms.
· Assist with month-end and year-end billing tasks.
· Create billing reports and help with financial analysis when needed.
· Use legal billing software efficiently.
· Address client questions about invoices promptly.
· Manage high-volume billing professionally.
· Perform other billing-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2+ years of law firm billing experience.
· Knowledge of billing software (e.g., Elite, Clio, etc.).
· Ability to work independently and handle basic math tasks.
· Strong communication skills.
· Experience with e-billing systems and client portals.
· Motivated, detail-oriented, and professional approach.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
