LHH is looking for a hybrid Medical Malpractice Legal Assistant for a firm in Pittsburgh, PA.
This role is essential in providing administrative support to our attorneys and paralegals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the Medical Malpractice practice group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate attorney calendars.
- Create and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly organized.
- Prepare letters, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle client communication with professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a law firm setting is required.
- Prior experience in medical malpractice or litigation is a plus.
- Strong proofreading and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Salary $50,000 - $60,000, depending on experience + benefits
