Staff Accountant (Downtown Pittsburgh)

Applicants can expect to prepare analysis, journal entries, perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheets, participating in monthly close processes, preparing sales tax returns, and responding to request for financial statements. Responsibilities:
- Handling monthly close processes and preparing reconciliations for balance sheets
- Manage journal entries and preparing appropriate analysis
- Conduct annual financial audits
- Respond to inquires for financial statements
- Prepare sales tax returns
- A background in a financial related role is required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be highly knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Multitasking
- High level of professionalism at all time
- Two years of experience is required
- Contract to hire
- $23.00 to $26.00 an hour
- Full time 40 hours a week
- 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, In office
- Hybrid schedule (two days remote)
