LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Temporary Receptionist in the Pittsburgh area. This position offers a pay rate of $20 per hour. If you're looking to gain valuable experience and join a dynamic team, this opportunity is perfect for you! This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension if needed.

Job Description: Temporary Receptionist

Summary

As a Temporary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Your role is crucial in creating a positive first impression for visitors and callers. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional individual who can handle a variety of administrative tasks with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or department.

  • Phone Handling: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner.

  • Mail and Package Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage and schedule appointments and meetings.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to visitors and callers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

  • Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Friendly and professional demeanor.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

  • The work environment is typically an office setting.

  • The noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $20 per hour.

  • Contract Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension if needed.
