LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal for a valued law firm client. Candidates should be professional, motivated, organized and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter who works well independently, and in a group, this opportunity may be a great fit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Organize correspondence and medical reports
· Assist with intake case details including medical summaries
· Schedule appointments and meetings and keep track of attorney calendar
· Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of documents
· Conduct legal research while developing a knowledge of workers' comp laws
· Drafting of briefs, motions, appeals, accident reports
· Review and follow up on client deadlines
· Consistently complete assigned tasks within required timeframes and deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
· 2+ years prior law firm experience preference for Workers’ Compensation experience
· Team Player
· Detail oriented
· Ability to work in fast-pace with high volume casework
Compensation DOE
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
