LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a company in Placentia, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong accounting skills, QuickBooks Online experience, and a passion for contributing to a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a full-time, in-office role with an anticipated salary of $70,000-$85,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online

· Perform daily accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets

· Assist in preparation for audits and tax filings

· Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

· Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc financial projects and analysis

· Help implement and streamline accounting processes in a start-up environment

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

· Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online is required

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations

· Ability to thrive in a start-up or fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
