Immediate Opening: Personal Injury Attorney (Temp-to-Hire) – Plantation, FL
LHH is partnering with a respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Plantation, FL, to identify a skilled and committed Personal Injury Attorney for a full-time, temp-to-hire position. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is ready to take full ownership of a dynamic caseload.
Position Overview: This exclusive role requires full-time dedication—outside legal work or concurrent employment is not permitted due to conflict and workload considerations. The selected attorney will manage cases from intake through resolution, playing a critical role in advocating for injured clients and securing fair outcomes.
Key Duties:
Manage a full docket of personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and conduct legal research
Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations, depositions, and court hearings
Prepare for and attend trials as needed
Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants
Candidate Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Florida
At least 2 years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation
Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume caseload
Must not engage in any outside legal practice or concurrent employment
This is an on-site position (not remote)
