LHH is seeking an accounting to join the Ponca City group of a national manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have hands on work with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, month and year end, and journal entries. This role will support the Plant Controller and have growth opportunities within the organization. If you're looking to have direct impact and provide value to a team, this is a great role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

• 2+ years' of professional accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

• Ideal candidate will desire to take ownership of accounting work and be a self starter
