Accounting Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detailed-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. We are seeking a pro-active and eager to learn Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Salary Range:
  • Up $23/ hour


Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
