Job Title: Accounting Specialist Location: Downtown Portland, OR Job Details: Fully Onsite, Temp To Hire, Full Time Compensation: $25-$27 an hour DOE

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our client in Downtown Portland, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 1-year experience in accounts payable and possess strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookups).

Responsibilities:



  • Processing and reviewing paper invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices.


  • Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor files.


  • Aid with vendor inquiries, prepare and process weekly check runs, and provide support to other accounting functions as required.


  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, assisting with month-end close, and accruals.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounts payable


  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills


  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Compensation/Benefits: $25-$27 an hour DOE Benefits vary depending on employer
