Job Title: Assistant Portfolio Manager

Location: Onsite – South Portland, Oregon
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm

About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Portfolio Manager to support our client's residential property management operations in South Portland. This is a full-time, onsite position ideal for someone with a strong foundation in property management and accounting who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a portfolio of residential properties across the Portland area.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for each property.

  • Monitor rent collections, vendor payments, and expense tracking.

  • Conduct periodic property visits and inspections.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely service delivery.

  • Prepare and review lease agreements, renewals, and tenant communications.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local housing regulations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property management.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and property budgeting.

  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (minimal local travel involved).



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
