LHH is currently assisting an established firm in Portland, Oregon source a Bankruptcy Litigation Paralegal to join their team! This role is hybrid after 60 days (3 days in office, 2 remote). The ideal candidate will have corporate bankruptcy experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing, drafting, and filing bankruptcy-related documents.
  • Reviewing and analyzing bankruptcy claims.
  • Gathering information from creditors, debtors, trustees, and court clerks.
  • Track deadlines and project status to ensure completion, and collaborate with attorneys and external parties on resolving legal issues.
  • Interviewing clients and keeping them informed of progress made with their cases.
  • Conducting legal research on bankruptcy-related issues.
  • Submitting legal documents to the Bankruptcy Court in a timely manner.
  • Assist with electronic filing, including preparing and uploading documents

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of bankruptcy experience (corporate)
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe and Bankruptcy preparation software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Billable: 1200/hour per year

Schedule: After 60 days 3:2 schedule

Salary: $75,000-$95,000 DOE, bonus eligible

Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, etc



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
