LHH Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity to hire a Project Coordinator with one of our large Construction clients based in Portland, Oregon. This role will directly support Project and Division Managers with billing and invoicing, payroll, cost reporting, customer interaction, issuing work orders, and more. We are seeking someone with strong multitasking skills who is comfortable with numbers, and who has at least two years of previous project coordination or accounting/billing experience, ideally within the construction industry.

Position Details
- Job Title: Project Coordinator
- Industry: Construction
- Duration: Contract to Hire
- Location: Onsite in Portland, OR
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
- Pay Rate: $28 - $30 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and cost reports.
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants, including customers.
- Assist with timesheets and payroll for project contractors.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Process all department billings and AR collections.
Requirements:
- 2+ years work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in the construction industry is a big plus.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Experience using project management and/or billing systems.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
