Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Attorney to join our client's team for a temporary role lasting 9–10 months. This position involves managing and reviewing business contracts while assessing risk and providing professional legal advice on strategies related to various agreements. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in contract drafting and redlining, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage a variety of business contracts, including service agreements, supplier agreements, quality agreements, consultant agreements, CDAs/NDAs, and more
- Redline contracts with precision and accuracy
- Identify and evaluate legal risks associated with organizational actions and market changes
- Interpret and provide guidance on relevant laws, rulings, and regulations impacting the business
- Oversee contract reviews and collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies in all internal and external interactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the legal team
Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney with a Juris Doctorate and active bar membership in any U.S. state
- 5+ years of contracts experience, including at least 3 years in a law firm handling transactional contract work
- Skilled in drafting, redlining, and revising contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of turning around contracts quickly
- Collaborative mindset and a professional demeanor
