Job Description: LHH Recruitment is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support our client's team at a large non-profit organization based in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working with large data sets, as well as strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups.
As a Document Management Specialist you will play a crucial role in assisting the Human Resources and Compensation team with developing and implementing compensation strategies that will attract and retain top talent. You will work closely with colleagues and department managers to ensure their compensation data is up to job market trends, and accurately reflected via internal data sets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large datasets with precision by applying Excel skills, such as vlookup, pivot tables, and conditional formatting, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Streamline compensation processes by automating calculations and improving workflow efficiency.
- Support the HR/Compensation team with market research and analysis.
- Conduct market research to benchmark compensation and benefits.
- Analyze job responsibilities to determine appropriate salary grades.
- Assist in the administration of annual salary reviews and bonus cycles.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of data entry/data management knowledge.
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Previous experience handling large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- It is NOT required to have experience working in Human Resources or Compensation.
