LHH is currently seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join a growing firm in Portland, OR. This position supports a rotating group of attorneys based on caseload needs, with exposure to a variety of estate and trust matters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment, enjoys meaningful work, and appreciates structure without micromanagement. The anticipated salary for this role is between $80,000-$100,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

· Draft a variety of legal documents including pleadings, client correspondence, status reports, asset spreadsheets, estate tax returns, gift tax returns, accountings, and trust administration documentation

· Assist attorneys with meeting prep and serve as a primary point of contact for clients

· Organize, maintain, and manage physical and electronic legal files

· Conduct research, retrieve documents and data, and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client interaction

· Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys across multiple practice areas

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of full-time paralegal experience (ideally in estate planning, trust administration, or probate)

· Strong understanding of Federal and Oregon/Washington estate laws, tax returns, and trust documents

· Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved program preferred)

· Paralegal certification (RP, CRP, OCP, or similar)

· Familiarity with legal databases, billing platforms, and document management systems

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, redlining, and document formatting

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and sound judgment

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal environment
