Estate Planning Paralegal – Portland, OR (Hybrid After Training)
- Salary: $80K–$95K + discretionary bonus (up to $100K for 20+ years of experience)
- Schedule: Full-time, fully onsite for 3–6 months, then hybrid 1–2 days/week remote
- Perks: Fully paid mass transit pass or partial parking reimbursement (based on in-office days)
LHH is working with a law firm who's seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal to support a group of attorneys (rotating by caseload). This role includes work on trusts and estates, probate, trust administration, estate tax returns, and gift tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft correspondence, pleadings, summaries, tax returns, and related documents
Locate and organize documents and data; maintain client files
Serve as a point of contact for clients while ensuring confidentiality
Prepare attorneys for client meetings
Requirements:
3+ years of paralegal experience (trusts & estates preferred)
Knowledge of Federal, Oregon, and Washington estate/gift tax returns
Strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
Advanced skills in Word, Adobe, Excel, and document formatting tools
Ability to manage deadlines and maintain high work quality
Preferred:
Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved)
National or local paralegal certification (RP, CRP, OCP)
