Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives that are in harmony with the overarching business strategy.
- Serve as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues that may arise.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
- Support the current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cultivate a positive working environment that promotes employee well-being and productivity.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and aligns with organizational goals.
- Maintain the pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive and fair compensation for employees.
- Assess training needs and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Report to management and provide decision support through the use of HR metrics and data analysis.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout all aspects of human resource management to mitigate risks and protect the organization.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management is essential.
- PHR/SHRM certifications are required to demonstrate professional expertise.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in a human resources role.
- At least 5 years of experience in human relations, showcasing the ability to manage employee interactions effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization, including influencing decision-makers and setting manager expectations.
- Proven experience in developing and evolving an organization that interfaces with employees, vendors, department hiring managers, unions, and technology.
- Proficiency with modern HRIS and Talent Management systems to streamline HR processes.
- Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Paycom is a plus.
- Union experience is preferred.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
