LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in Portland, OR on a Human Resource Generalist job. You thrive in a traditional setting where many employees have stayed for many years and consider work as their second family. You have the ability to speak with front line production workers and also company ownership. You want a lot of variety in your HR role and the ability to continuously learn. Responsibilities:
  • Full scope HR Generalist position; right hand to HR leader
  • Support an employee base of 150 employees with the largest majority as front-line production employees
  • Provide day to day support to employees related to benefits, leave of absence, engagement, employee relations topics and more
  • Provide support to leadership through reporting and other feedback mechanisms
  • Assist with development and updating of company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (or similar) and/or HR certification strongly preferred
  • 3 years of experience in broad based HR roles
  • Exposure to, and passion for, HRIS, benefits, compensation, performance management and other process and procedure development

Skills:
  • Ability to quickly learn and leverage technology and systems
  • Self-accountable – identify needs, propose solutions, and take appropriate action
  • Experience working with HRIS / Payroll software highly desired

About the role:
  • Full Time, Direct Hire
  • Mon – Fri; 8a – 5p (flexible to start the day earlier)
  • Hybrid role – on site 2-3 days per week
  • Comp / Benefits – 70-80K DOE; employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, 3 weeks paid time off, 401k with company match, support for HR certifications and memberships and more!
