LHH is partnering with our long-standing client to find their next Human Resources Manager! This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a company that values innovation, collaboration, and employee well-being. Our client offers 90% paid medical benefits as well as 3 weeks of PTO to start!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment websites, analyze staffing needs, and match candidates with job requirements
Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, respond to inquiries, and resolve employment issues
Lead the process for annual employee appraisals and other performance management systems.
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, employment-related contractual obligations, and company policies.
Coordinate with management to update the Company Employee Handbook and other policies.
Manage employment data electronically and in paper form
Manage payroll processing, benefits, employee attendance, and leave
Coordinate management training in various HR-related areas. Advise management on employee relations issues.
Work with the Safety Coordinator to investigate accidents and prepare reports for Worker’s Compensation.
Prepare separation notices and conduct exit interviews.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher preferred.
5+ years of Human Resources experience.
HR Certification Preferred (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, HRCI).
Knowledge of labor law and HR management.
Working knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Good judgment and initiative in resolving complex problems.
