LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Insurance Verifications Specialist for our healthcare client located in NE Portland. This role will be 100% onsite and a contract to hire opportunity. The role will be focused on obtaining prior authorizations and verifying patient insurances for our client. This will be a high-volume role and interested candidates must be familiar with commercial and state insurances.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare administrative/prior auths/insurance verification role
• Must be proficient within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems
• Must be knowledgable of all insurances

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize throughout the day
• Knowledge of commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare insurances
• Able to work well as an independent producer throughout the day
• Understanding of medical billing processes and medical coding
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
