In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, guiding them through their initial steps with us and ensuring a seamless intake process.
What You'll Do:
Greet and assist patients in person, over the phone, or via email, creating a friendly and supportive environment.
Collect and verify patient details, including medical history and insurance information.
Schedule visits and collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely care.
Communicate with insurance companies to confirm coverage and secure authorizations.
Keep patient information accurate and up-to-date in our electronic medical records system.
Address patient questions and concerns with clarity and empathy.
Work with healthcare providers and administrative teams to streamline intake.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma required; Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting, particularly in patient intake or customer service.
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
