Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Tigard, OR (onsite, 5 days/week)
Employment Type: Full-time contract
Duration: Through June 27th, with possible 1-week extension
Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour
LHH has partnered with a mission-driven client in Tigard, Oregon, to help identify a reliable IT Support Technician for an immediate contract need. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a small, tight-knit IT team in a user-facing role at a well-established nonprofit organization dedicated to public education advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Help Desk Support: Handle help desk calls and emails; provide remote assistance across Microsoft Office 365, primarily Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Ticketing System Management: Use Service Desk Plus to manage and track tickets, update categories, and ensure timely issue resolution.
Documentation & Inventory: Maintain and edit internal training documents and how-to guides; perform basic hardware inventory and run Windows updates.
Technical Environment
Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive)
Service Desk Plus (ManageEngine)
PDQ (basic imaging knowledge)
Windows 10/11 environment
What We’re Looking For
Candidates at Level 1 or Level 2 welcome—client is willing to train a strong Level 1 into Level 2 responsibilities.
Prior experience supporting a Microsoft 365 environment; SharePoint familiarity is a plus.
Strong communication and documentation skills (especially in MS Word).
Someone who lives nearby and can reliably be onsite every weekday.
Trustworthy, dependable, and professional—this is a two-person IT team, so consistency is key.
