- Ability to analyze complex rules and regulations for effective problem-solving and claim evaluations.
- Proficient in computer systems, data entry, and database management.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; deadline-driven.
- Team-oriented with a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in claims and litigation management (employment practices, general, auto, property, medical malpractice, etc.).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Manage claims across various categories, including professional liability, auto, general liability, and workers’ compensation.
- Serve as the primary contact for insurance matters, including claims and policy renewals.
- Conduct investigations, determine coverage, evaluate liability, and manage claim settlements.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators and consultants.
- Report on claim trends, make presentations and recommend policy changes.
- Support license renewals and property tax exemptions.
- Manage the archiving system and assist with Risk Management policies.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and immediately report any data breaches.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties.
