Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Portland law firm to find a Client Intake Specialist to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connecting with people, has a strong sales background, legal industry experience, and can bring empathy and professionalism to every client interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone and email interviews with prospective clients to gather case details
- Perform preliminary research to assess the merit of claims
- Evaluate whether client needs align with the firm’s practice areas and services
- Schedule initial consultations with attorneys for qualified leads
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process and complete intake paperwork
- Create and organize initial case files and enter accurate information into internal systems
- Maintain communication with referral partners and assist in expanding the firm’s referral network
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous experience in a legal, customer service, or administrative role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency with case management or CRM software is a plus
- A professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with potential clients
