Job Title: Legal Intake Coordinator
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Onsite
Pay: $50,000-$58,000
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Portland law firm to find a Client Intake Specialist to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connecting with people, has a strong sales background, legal industry experience, and can bring empathy and professionalism to every client interaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct phone and email interviews with prospective clients to gather case details
  • Perform preliminary research to assess the merit of claims
  • Evaluate whether client needs align with the firm’s practice areas and services
  • Schedule initial consultations with attorneys for qualified leads
  • Guide new clients through the onboarding process and complete intake paperwork
  • Create and organize initial case files and enter accurate information into internal systems
  • Maintain communication with referral partners and assist in expanding the firm’s referral network
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a legal, customer service, or administrative role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Proficiency with case management or CRM software is a plus
  • A professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with potential clients
