Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in-office/3 remote); 37.5 hr. work week
Pay Rate: $30-$36/hr.

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our client’s firm in downtown Portland as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will bring extensive litigation support experience - particularly within Oregon courts - and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level legal assistant support to multiple attorneys in a busy litigation practice
- Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
- File documents electronically in Oregon District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
- Docket deadlines and manage calendars in accordance with Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure
- Draft letters, shell pleadings, and assist with appellate filings
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain case files and organize documentation with precision
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and outside counsel as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a litigation legal assistant
- Ability to start immediately
- Extensive knowledge of Oregon litigation procedures, including the Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure (ORCP)
- Experience with Oregon court docketing systems
- Experience e-filing in Oregon District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (appellate experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in legal technology and quick to learn new systems
