Location: Downtown Portland, OR (3 days in the office, 2 days remote. Home days are flexible.)
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000 - $68,000 annually, with merit increase in April (prorated 3%-4%) and up to 3.8% annual bonus based on company performance.
Job Description: As a Logistics and Supply Chain Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in handling grain and oil seed products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering purchase orders
- Managing invoicing and expense reports
- Providing support on the trade side rather than negotiating rates
- Utilizing GSAP or SAP for transactions
- Applying your expertise in MS Office and potentially Future/Physicals systems
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or sales support
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Significant experience in the food industry is a huge plus
- Deep experience using GSAP for Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Knowledge of accounting, including futures markets and physical transactions
- Experience with commodity business logistics, such as container or bulk shipments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline sensitivity
