Logistics and Supply Chain Support Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a dynamic and growing team in our Portland office, part of a leading food division with a strong Japanese culture. They are expanding due to growth and looking for a dedicated Logistics and Supply Chain Support Specialist to contribute to their success. This position offers the opportunity to work in a quiet, focused environment while balancing in-office and remote work. Location: Downtown Portland, OR (3 days in the office, 2 days remote. Home days are flexible.) Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compensation: $60,000 - $68,000 annually, with merit increase in April (prorated 3%-4%) and up to 3.8% annual bonus based on company performance. Job Description: As a Logistics and Supply Chain Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in handling grain and oil seed products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Entering purchase orders
• Managing invoicing and expense reports
• Providing support on the trade side rather than negotiating rates
• Utilizing GSAP or SAP for transactions
• Applying your expertise in MS Office and potentially Future/Physicals systems

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or sales support
• Bachelor’s Degree required, or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Significant experience in the food industry is a huge plus
• Deep experience using GSAP for Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Knowledge of accounting, including futures markets and physical transactions
• Experience with commodity business logistics, such as container or bulk shipments
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline sensitivity
