About the Role
LHH Recruitment is seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a newer residential property in Portland, OR. This is a direct hire, onsite position ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership role and enjoys solving complex building systems issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC as well as troubleshooting elevators. Our client is excited and motivated to hire immediately!
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and vendors
- Perform and oversee troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC systems and elevators, as well as standard building maintenance repairs
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion
- Manage work orders, vendor relationships, and supply inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed
- Collaborate with property management to support tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance role
- Experience either as a Lead or Manager
- Proven expertise in HVAC and elevator troubleshooting and repair
- Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical operations
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
