Medical Coder (CPC) Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM Location:
About the Role:
LHH is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to find a detail-oriented Certified Professional Coder (CPC). In this role, you'll ensure that medical records are accurately coded and compliant with risk adjustment guidelines. If you're passionate about coding and eager to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Review Charts: Conduct retrospective and prospective reviews to ensure precise coding.
- Verify Codes: Confirm diagnosis codes are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Collaborate: Work with Provider Education Consultants to address trends and improve coding practices.
- Mentor: Guide junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
- Stay Compliant: Keep up with regulatory changes to ensure our practices meet the latest standards.
What We're Looking For:
- CPC Certification: Required.
- Experience: Familiarity with risk adjustment and CMS HCC categories is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Team Player: Great communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
