Medical Credentialing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Credentialing Specialist for our healthcare client located in Downtown Portland, OR. This role will be a 100% onsite work enviornment and a contract to hire opportunity (potential to go hybrid after the contract tenure), Monday-Friday, full-time. The role will be focused on keeping providers credentialed, ensuring that all information is up to date and accurate, and thoroughly researching and verifying new providers as they are hired onto our client's team.



Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years credentialing experience required
  • CPCS strongly desired (not required)
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office and EMR Software Systems
Skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to independently research and thoroughly investigate and make sounds judgement calls when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understanding of medical credentialing procedures and accreditation requirements
  • Able to quickly learn new software systems and be proficient within Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and priortize throughout the day



Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
