Job Title: Temporary Paralegal
Location: Portland, Oregon
Pay Details: $35-$44/hr.

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Paralegals for contract opportunities in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys, contributing to the team's overall efficiency and success. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research, document management, and drafting legal documents
  • Coordinate and manage case files from inception to conclusion
  • Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and legal agreements
  • Schedule meetings, depositions, and court dates, and maintain legal calendars
  • Conduct legal research and analysis, and provide summaries to attorneys
  • Liaise between the legal team, clients, and external parties to ensure clear communication and timely workflow

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or comparable position
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and understanding of legal procedures
  • Litigation experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skilled in using computer software for data entry, document management, and legal research
  • High school diploma or equivalent
