LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a full-time Intake Specialist on a contract to hire basis for a client in Portland, OR. Our client is seeking a Intake Specialist to provide exceptional customer service to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.


This is an onsite position and candidate needs to live in Portland, OR Responsibilities:


  1. Responsible for managing the front desk, answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and verifying their insurance information.


  2. Responsible for maintaining patient records, ensuring that they are accurate and up to date, and managing patient confidentiality.


  3. Liaison with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and insurance providers, to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.


  4. Ensure that the office is compliant with all laws and regulations, such as HIPAA and OSHA.


  5. Manage billing and insurance claims, ensuring that they are submitted accurately and in a timely manner, and following up on any issues or discrepancies.


  6. Evaluate charge information to ensure accuracy per payer requirements; makes corrections as needed


Qualifications:


  1. High school diploma/GED is required.


  2. 1+ year of Medical Office or Healthcare experience, required.


  3. Experience with medical terminology and basic EMR or billing systems, required.


Compensation:

$19-$23

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
