Position: Payroll Specialist
Location: NE Portland, OR
Job Type: Direct Hire, Fully Onsite, Full time
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 a year DOE
We have an exciting opportunity for an Payroll Specialist to join our client in NE Portland, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 1-3 years experience in payroll and possess strong Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS).
Responsibilities:
Managing full cycle payroll in a team for a larger company (500+)
Ensuring the accuracy of all data input into the payroll system
Safeguarding the confidentiality and security of employee information
Addressing payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly and professionally
Assisting with year-end payroll reporting
Undertaking other related duties as necessary
Requirements:
1-3+ years in high volume, multistate payroll experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and precision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
