LHH is partnering with a great law firm looking for their next Probate Paralegal in Portland, OR.
Responsibilities:
Draft, filing, and finalization for estate planning needs including: probate documents procedures and tax return preparation (Forms 709 and 706).
Filing of probate documents on a daily basis
Create and apply for employer identification numbers
Project management over daily tasks and ability to jump in where needed
Track and manage multiple deadlines at one time
Client communications: phone calls and email correspondence
Track and accurately follow docketing procedures to ensure all docketing deadlines are met
Qualifications:
Proven experience in estate planning, probate, and tax law support.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in legal document drafting and court filing procedures.
Strong communication skills and client service orientation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a legal team environment.
Familiarity with docketing systems and legal practice management tools is a plus.
