LHH is partnering with a leading organization in Portland, OR to identify an experienced Senior IT Program Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role plays a strategic part in onboarding and executing Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery projects across a $16M program portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Lead the onboarding and delivery of a portfolio of 12 interrelated IT projects
Coordinate project budgeting, forecasting, and planning across multiple fiscal years
Manage cross-functional resources, vendor engagement, and project teams
Align project deliverables with broader business goals, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
Partner with SONIC stakeholders for resourcing, communication, and reporting
Oversee risk mitigation, issue resolution, and program-level change control

Key Activities:
Organize and monitor inter-connected projects
Develop program-level strategies and execution plans
Evaluate performance metrics and ensure delivery efficiency
Lead and mentor project managers and internal/external teams
Track project financials, develop operating models, and maintain key documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive experience in IT project/program management
Demonstrated success leading large, complex IT programs with cross-functional teams
Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, and resource planning
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in project management tools and templates (PMO standards)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
Preferred Technical & Domain Experience:
Experience delivering projects in Cybersecurity, Compliance, Infrastructure, or Service Delivery
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Azure, SailPoint, Red Hat Satellite, Hypervisor, Splunk, and M365
PMI certification or equivalent strongly preferred
Master’s degree in business, technology, or related field is a plus
Pay Details: $55.00 to $75.00 per hour
