LHH is partnering with a leading organization in Portland, OR to identify an experienced Senior IT Program Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role plays a strategic part in onboarding and executing Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery projects across a $16M program portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding and delivery of a portfolio of 12 interrelated IT projects

• Coordinate project budgeting, forecasting, and planning across multiple fiscal years

• Manage cross-functional resources, vendor engagement, and project teams

• Align project deliverables with broader business goals, ensuring timelines and budgets are met

• Partner with SONIC stakeholders for resourcing, communication, and reporting

• Oversee risk mitigation, issue resolution, and program-level change control

Key Activities:

• Organize and monitor inter-connected projects

• Develop program-level strategies and execution plans

• Evaluate performance metrics and ensure delivery efficiency

• Lead and mentor project managers and internal/external teams

• Track project financials, develop operating models, and maintain key documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT project/program management

• Demonstrated success leading large, complex IT programs with cross-functional teams

• Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, and resource planning

• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in project management tools and templates (PMO standards)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization

Preferred Technical & Domain Experience:

• Experience delivering projects in Cybersecurity, Compliance, Infrastructure, or Service Delivery

• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Azure, SailPoint, Red Hat Satellite, Hypervisor, Splunk, and M365

• PMI certification or equivalent strongly preferred

• Master’s degree in business, technology, or related field is a plus
