Job Title: Property Accountant (Entry Level) Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 a year Location: Downtown Portland, OR (Fully Onsite, Parking Paid) Job Type: Direct Hire, Full Time We’re teaming up with a local property firm to find a Property Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you have accounting experience and are ready to dive into the real estate world, this role is perfect for you. You’ll play a key part in managing financial records and preparing statements for a diverse property portfolio. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a growing industry! Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or related) – Primary requirement.
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Comfortability working in a professional work environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Quick learner and a team player.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end processes and journal entries.
Review general ledgers and help prepare monthly financial statements.
Analyze income and expenses, providing variance explanations.
Aid in reconciling bank accounts and processing mortgages.
Manage tenant leases and CAM reconciliations.
Process invoices, support check runs, and document procedures.
Contribute to special projects and follow regulatory guidelines.
